Our CrossFit program is delivered in a fun and motivating group environment with a variety of ages, sizes, and fitness levels represented in a class. Before you can jump in with the groups, however, you will need to go through our CrossFit Foundations Program. This starts with 4 private personal training sessions scheduled at a time that works with both your schedule and ours. You'll get one-on-one time with one of the top CrossFit Coaches in the country to learn about:
the CrossFit methodology
the guiding principles of the BRIO approach
the fundamentals of the movements we use
appropriate scaling options for you
the basics of our recommended nutrition approach.
From there, your Foundations journey continues with your first 8 CrossFit group classes. Coaches pay special attention to helping you apply all that you learned in your 4 private sessions to the WOD (Workout of the Day). After your first 8 group classes, we'll meet one more time for a private session to check in with how things are going and teach you a few more skills.
Once you graduate from Foundations, you are good to go to join our regular CrossFit classes all the time!

All memberships are set up on a recurring payment basis using a Visa or Mastercard. So that we can do the best job possible in helping each person start their journey with CrossFit, joining BRIO requires a 4 month minimum commitment. After that, memberships continue to run on a month-to-month basis and cancellation simply requires 30 days notice. You can view all our policies here.

You will need to demonstrate a basic level of conditioning and technique with the movements in order to safely participate in our group classes. Not sure if you’re ready? Try this test at home. Set a timer for 5 min and see how many burpees you can complete in that time. The standards for each burpee are to get down on the floor, with full contact of the chest, stomach, and thighs on the floor, and get up, finishing with a small jump and your hands clapping over your head at the top. In 5 min you should be able to complete a minimum of 30 burpees.
