Competitive

Team

Earned,

not given

CrossFit BRIO has a proven track record in the long term development of competitive level CrossFitters. We have qualified numerous individuals and sent a team to the Regional competition every year since its inception.

In 2018, we were very honored to have Team BRIO compete at the West Regional in Del Mar, California - one of only 5 Canadian teams represented. As it turned out, this was the final year for the Regional format of competition and we are exceptionally grateful for all the years we were able to participate in this bit of CrossFit history.

In 2017 we were incredibly proud to have BRIO represented at the CrossFit Games in Madison, WI by Iain Maclean in the 40-44 Masters' Competition! 5x Captain of the BRIO Regional Team, Iain was able to add "CrossFit Games Athlete" to his long list of achievements. He went in to the competition ranked 15th in the world, and finished the Games in 10th place.

In 2016 we were honored to have BRIO represented at the CrossFit Games in Carson, CA by Viki Cirkvencic in the 40-44 Masters' Competition! Only 20 women in the world qualified to compete and she placed 11th overall. Viki was the first BRIO Athlete to compete at the CrossFit Games and her achievement led a new level of aspiration among our team.

Many of the members of our competitive team came to us with an unremarkable set of skills - some unable to complete even a single pull up. Through dedication and hard work in our competitive training program, they competed at a level only the top 1% of CrossFitters got to experience. The proof is in the pudding, and our track record proves our athletes' development is the result of a unique process, not a simply a lucky collection of skills.
