Established in 2008, BRIO came from humble beginnings as a personal training studio located in Saskatoon's Sutherland neighborhood. It has since grown into a stand-alone facility dedicated solely to the Sport of Fitness. Within these walls you'll find the most hard-working, supportive, caring group of people around!

About CrossFit BRIO
Passionate about human movement
CrossFit BRIO is part of a revolution in fitness, based on movements, not muscles. We don't want you to use machines, we want you to be one. We want fitness that comes in handy in our real lives, we want to live a long, high-quality life, and we want to look good in our jeans while we do it. We think getting fit should be fun and the best part is to share it with other people.

We are a small piece of the CrossFit Nation which draws the best from the world of exercise including gymnastics, plyometrics, kettle-bell training, Olympic weightlifting, medicine ball and dumbbell training, power-lifting, rowing, running, and jumping rope. Together we forge elite fitness across broad time and modal domains. Each week our programming includes short, long, and interval style workouts of varying power output, but always done with intensity.

We measure capacity through 10 general physical skills: Cardio-respiratory endurance, Stamina, Strength, Flexibility, Power, Speed, Coordination, Agility, Balance, and Accuracy. Our clients are a diverse bunch. From grandmas and grandpas, to new moms, to teenagers. From the de-conditioned to the super-fit and athletic. Their needs vary in degree, not kind. What they share is a passion for constantly varied, functional movement executed at high intensity and the desire to be better tomorrow than they are today. These people are inspirational and the results are dramatic.

WORLD CLASS
FITNESS IN 100 WORDS
"Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports." - CrossFit Inc.
