Suuuuuuuuper mega exciting things happening after last weekend's Masters Online Qualifier! Lots have been asking for details, so we wanted to give an update. After The Open and going in to the Qualifier, Iain Maclean was ranked 29th in the world in the 40-44 Men's age group. After absolutely demolishing the 4 qualifier workouts he is now sitting comfortably in 16th place IN THE WORLD!! In the next few days we will go through the formality of a video review process and then the top 20 will be invited to compete at The CrossFit Games in Madison, WI!!!! Look out Madison, Iain (and a very rowdy BRIO cheer squad) are coming for you :-)
In case you were wondering, in addition to earning his place at the CrossFit Games Iain is also still eligible to compete with Team BRIO at the West Regional in Portland, OR in June. This will be Iain's 5th appearance at Regionals (the most of any of our athletes) and because he embodies every principle we try to live up to each day he will once again be the Captain of our Team.
