After yesterday's post about Starbucks "protein" drinks, several of you sent me more egregious example of Ultra Processed marketing bullshit, so I guess we're doing this as an Absolute Idiot series now! Next up....

The front of package is certainly spiffed up with all kinds of health halo claims, isn't it.
But the truth is....

That's right... TWENTY FIVE ultra processed ingredients. This is a slurry of industrial waste products, low quality fillers, and synthetic vitamins. An imposter of real food! And the cost?? $3.20 per patty, nearly DOUBLE the price of a basic beef burger patty (which has ONE ingredient, BTW). You would have to be an absolute idiot to think this is a good choice. Luckily, you guys are all smarter than that. Knowledge is power.
