ššš„³š Happy Birthday today to Brian Stewart!!

The normal amount of sugar in your bloodstream is ~4g. 8g is a problem and 12g is a serious medical issue. Mainlining liquid sugar straight to your system (no chewing required!) has blood glucose spike sky high within minutes, leading to a cascade of hormones and an activation of systems in the body to suppress this 5-alarm fire and bring blood glucose back into the normal range. The body can handle these assault once in a while, but weekly (or daily!) assaults of pure sugary bullshit add up over time to widespread damage to the cardiovascular system, the connective tissues, the brain, the organs, etc. Do not be gullible to marketing non-sense. These beverages are not supportive of health.
