CrossFit Podcast producer Maggie Mullen steps out from backstage for a raw, unfiltered conversation about body image, nutrition, and the culture of CrossFit. From her early days as a competitor and fueling to perform, to finding balance, Maggie opens up about food neurosis, body dysmorphia, and an alternative view of diet culture.


This episode digs into the tension between discipline and obsession, aesthetics and health, and what it really means to chase your best self inside the gym and out. Topics include:

Friday we'll be getting fit and festive ALL DAY. Regular classes are still on, but we'll be doing a shorter workout followed by a potluck and games. Jingle n' mingle with your gym fam!

2026 Kids Classes

Winter I (6 weeks), Winter II (6 weeks), and Spring (10 weeks) sessions of our NextGen CrossFit Kids classes are now open for registration at crossfitbrio.com/nextgen. Class times are Tuesdays at 6:30pm or Thursdays at 6:30pm.


Our NextGen CrossFit kids classes are open to kids age 9-13 (grades 4-8). CrossFit is a General Physical Preparedness program that teaches the fundamentals of human movement - hinge, squat, push, pull, hang, jump, etc. We emphasize strength, power, stability, and balance as the foundation of all athleticism. Using this base of proper mechanics, kids are well prepared to take on any sport or activity they enjoy!


Put simply: a kid that cannot complete a competent air squat or hold their spine straight while they bend over should not be on skates or darting left and right at high speed on the court or field of play. Our coaches are here to help build that base!
